Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF)

PRF is a 100 % natural concentrate from your own blood cells, used to promote the healing process after an injury. In the skin, we use PRF to stimulate collagen regeneration and enhance skin rejuvenation. 

Without the use of chemicals or additives, the “vampire facelift” spins your own blood sample creating a serum that provides platelets, white blood cells, mesenchymal stem cells, and fibrin that will stimulate the healing process. growth factors are released from platelets that will assist in the stimulation of cell division and tissue proliferation, helping the formation of new collagen. 

PRF can be used in many areas of the skin such as under the eyes, around the crow’s feet of the eyes, lips, marionette lines, and scars. It is a natural filler and treats the crepey, wrinkly appearance of the skin, by stimulating collagen formation to fill in fine lines and wrinkles. PRF has the added benefit of offering a higher concentration of active cells (platelets and white cells), and also offers stem cells which PRP does not.
